Is it easy to use?

Yes, it's incredibly easy to use; the system comes with an easy to understand manual and we also demonstrate how to use it when we install it at your school. Additionally we provide a free telephone help line during normal office hours.

Who can show us how to use the equipment?

On delivery we demonstrate all the functions available and go through the user manual with you. We make sure that you feel confident and comfortable using the system and we provide you with full ongoing support.

Does it come in any different sizes?

Yes, There are a number of options available e.g. larger speakers, different amplifier, different case etc. Please ask for more details. We would normally supply a lightweight system for maximum portability and flexibility.

What happens if it breaks down?

As the system is on a rental contract full breakdown cover is included; everything except the microphones are covered (replacements are available at £25.00). Normal turnaround is 72 hours although we do our utmost to get an engineer to site the same day.

Are there just educational challenges on it?

No, There are lots of different uses, many of which are ideally suited to fund raising activities.
The system comes with a portable public address system great for sports day etc. The equipment is capable of accepting a Compact Disc player great for Discos.
Use the system on wet days in the hall or a classroom with the thousands of Karaoke songs supplied.

How many can use the Karaoke?

Depending on the configuration of equipment chosen, there are normally three microphones - one for the compere and two for the singers.
A voice correction mode can attempt to correct the voice of a singer into the correct pitch. Only one singer is able to use voice correct mode at a time. (Great for "ear" training)

Can pupils use it on their own?

Yes, in terms of ease of use, but schools might wish to have a teacher or an adult other than a teacher present in a supervisory capacity.

Can we set our own Questions?

Yes, we have a web site where you can upload an Excel spreadsheet of questions and we will return a personalised file to use with the system.

How do the answer pads work if they don't plug in?

The answer pads are wireless transponders and are battery operated. We expect the batteries to last for approx. 12 months (depending on amount of use). Batteries will be replaced free of charge as and when they are required. The transponders use the radio frequency 433 Mhz and are licence exempt. (Full technical details can be supplied if necessary)

How much is the insurance?

This normally depends on your postcode. Please contact your usual insurance supplier.
